How does it work? Every time your iDevice starts to function, if it does not recognize the Apple SHSH for the firmwre it has installed on it, it will stop operating and most probably will turn into a brick. That is to say Apple signs firmwares with SHSH, but only for a limited amount of time. For example, at the moment in which I am writing this, Apple only signs firmwares for iOS 4.3, thus those of you who wish to experiment on previous iOSs or downgrade and do no have their SHSH saved are goners!
