Offered in 8GB ($299), 16GB ($399), and 32GB ($499) capacities, the iPod Touch is a premium-priced device with an attractive set of features for a midsize portable video player. Still, the Touch's limited storage capacity makes it a difficult choice when held up to higher capacity products like the iPod Classic or Archos 605 WiFi.

DesignFor better or worse, the iPod Touch is clearly the iPhone's baby brother. Like most products that roll out of Apple, the Touch shows the love of committed designers, hardware engineers, and usability experts. The iPod Touch measures a slim and pocketable 4.3 inches by 2.4 inches by 0.31 inch, with an all-metal-and-glass design that feels as expensive as it looks. Because nothing will ruin a portable video player faster than a gouge across its screen, we're happy to see that the face of the Touch uses the same scratch-resistant glass found on the iPhone. Most users will still want to buy a protective case, however, since the iPod Touch feels a little fragile and the back is covered with the glossy, scratch-prone, smudge-loving chrome exterior common to most iPods.

There are only two physical buttons on the iPod Touch: a button on the face of the player used for calling up the main menu; and a screen deactivation button found on the top-left edge of the case. The iPod Touch is controlled largely using an icon-based touch-screen navigation menu nearly identical to the iPhone's, but with greater emphasis placed on music, photo, and video playback.

The two design details that distinguish the iPod Touch from the iPhone are the downward-facing headphone jack and volume controls. In the absence of dedicated volume control buttons, the Touch gives users the ability to bring up an onscreen volume slider by double-clicking the main menu button. The same volume screen offers controls for playing, pausing, and skipping through tracks.

When it comes down to it, the iPod Touch's most unique selling point is not its feature set, but its interface. You can find products that offer more features, as well as higher quality audio and video performance, but you won't find any other product that can match the feeling you get using the iPod Touch interface. In fact, at the time of this writing, the only product that can even compete with the iPod Touch's combination of a Wi-Fi-enabled Web browser, wireless music store, wide-screen video playback, photo viewer, and audio player, is the Archos 605 WiFi.

One of the few notable features that put the iPod Touch ahead of the iPhone is the ability to output video and photos to a television using an optional Apple AV cable, Universal Dock, or qualifying third-party video accessory. We are a little disappointed that the iPod Touch is the only iPod that does not support a generic USB storage mode, but we doubt many users will be upset by this.

Audio format support is unchanged from previous iPods. The Touch supports standard and purchased AAC, as well as MP3, Audible, WAV, AIFF, and Apple Lossless. Video format support is likewise unaltered from the H.264/MP4 files playable on 5G iPods, as well as the third-generation iPod Nano and the iPod Classic. The Touch supports video resolutions up to 640 by 480 at 30 frames per second.

SafariThe Safari Web browser found on the iPod Touch is more or less the same great browser found on the iPhone, minus a few features. Beginning with firmware Version 1.1.3, iPhone and iPod Touch users can now use Safari to save bookmarked Web pages as menu screen icons, providing quick access to commonly-used sites.

iTunes Wi-FiBoth the iPod Touch and iPhone allow users to browse, preview, purchase, and download music from the new iTunes Wi-Fi music store. The store is limited strictly to music downloads--no movies, TV shows, podcasts, or games--at least, not yet. You'll have to hop onto an available Wi-Fi Internet connection to take advantage of the wireless music store, but once connected, you can search for any artist, album, or song in the iTunes catalog, as well as browse by genre, top sellers, featured artists, and new releases. Store purchases require you to enter your iTunes password as a security measure. Once the download is complete, the song is immediately available to listen to and will transfer to your computer's iTunes music library the next time you sync the device. The feature seems to work without any kinks. Even interrupted downloads pick up once a Wi-Fi connection is re-established.

Apple has also announced a partnership with the Starbucks coffee chain that will allow iPhone and Touch users the ability to access a Starbucks-branded version of the iTunes Wi-Fi music store when the device is used at participating cafes--without paying to use the hot spot. We doubt that anyone will purchase the Touch based on this added functionality, but it bears mentioning.

Firmware 2.0 improvementsLaunched in July 2008, version 2.0 of the iPod Touch's firmware adds support for many third-party applications available in the iTunes App Store. Developed primarily for the iPhone 3G, many of the iTunes App Store applications let you extend the functions of the iPod Touch to include features such as streaming Internet radio, sophisticated video games, and instant messaging. You can download App Store applications directly to the iPod Touch using a new App Store menu icon, or load them through iTunes after connecting the Touch to your computer.

Some of our favorite music-related applications for the iPod Touch include AOL Radio and Pandora, which let you stream music directly to the iPod Touch over Wi-Fi. Apple released an application called Remote which transforms your iPod Touch into a full-featured remote control for your computer's iTunes music library or a separate Apple TV system.

Wish listComplaining about the iPod Touch's lack of FM radio or voice-recording features feels like complaining about a Porsche's lack of cup holders. Still, there are some missing features on the iPod Touch that we would have enjoyed. High-capacity SD memory card expansion is at the top of our list of most-wanted features for the Touch. We could easily forgive any PVP's limited built-in memory capacity if the option of SD memory card expansion was available (the Archos 405 or Creative Zen are perfect examples of video players that give us the option to expand).

We'd also love to see embedded Flash support in the otherwise fabulous Safari browser. Whether video content from sites like DailyMotion or Viddler or music from Web sites like iMeem and Muxtape, embedded Flash media content is a big part of the Internet media experience. And while we're being picky, we also stereo Bluetooth transmission and the ability to use the Touch as an external storage drive like the iPod Nano and iPod Classic.

PerformancePutting aside the Touch's sleek design, futuristic interface, and innovative feature set, the quality of its audio and video playback rank only slightly above average. The iPod Touch reportedly uses the same audio chipset as the iPhone, but a different one than the iPod Classic. The Touch offers good audio quality, but not the stellar audio we were hoping for in an expensive product. The audio issue is compounded by Apple's long-standing history of preventing iPod users from defining their own custom EQ settings. Apple's 20 built-in equalization presets are handy, but there's just no substitute for rolling your own five-band EQ curve. With the Touch's emphasis on video playback, it would have been especially useful to have a surround-sound emulation effect similar to the Cowon A3's or Sony NWZ-S610's.

We've heard some complaints about the iPod Touch's video performance, but we found the overall quality to be good. Viewing angles are less than great, producing some color and contrast shifting from even slight tilting. We also found that the glossy glass screen kicks back a lot of glare. Still, despite the common complaints, the Touch is unquestionably the most video-worthy iPod yet.

Apple rates the iPod Touch's battery life at 22 hours for music playback and 5 hours for video. Our CNET labs found that the iPod Touch lasted an average of 23 hours for audio playback and 6 hours for video--which is better than expected, and more than adequate for a few in-flight movies.

Final thoughtsWe think the iPod Touch is a great product with lots to offer, but its premium price tag should give some shoppers pause. Don't assume that Apple's most expensive iPod is the best solution for your needs. If you're planning on watching a lot of video, high-capacity products like the iPod Classic or Archos 605 WiFi will allow you to load entire seasons of your favorite TV shows. Also bear in mind that if you're not around an available Wi-Fi network, features like the Safari Web browser, Internet radio, e-mail, iTunes Wi-Fi music store, and YouTube video portal won't mean much at all. While the iPod Touch may not be the slam dunk we were hoping for, it is an unquestionably cool product that continues Apple's legacy of sleek, innovative design.

Ok lets get started.

SYNC your iPod/iPhone BEFORE STARTING.

!!!UPDATING YOUR FIRMWARE WILL ERASE EVERYING!!!

Firmware

-To get the firmware go to/iPod/firmware/

-Go to the bottom section "iPhone / iPod touch"

-Click the little arrowing thing / the Dropbox.

-It will open alittle selection thing, look for your type of iPod/iPhone.

-After you find your type of iPod/iPhone .

-Select the "iPod/iPhone,"1G,2G,3G"(3.1.2/7D11)

-Click Download after you selected it.

-Best place to download it is your Desktop

-If it is a .rar file or a zipped file-

-Change the name toiPod2,1_3.1.2_7D11_Restore.ipsw

(or just add .ipsw at the end)

If you don't know how to rename, right click the file and click rename, or properties.

-Okay, now your done with the file.

Now, plug in your iPod andopen iTunes

Click it and it should start downloading. Should download on Desktop.

After downloading plug your iPod/iPhone.

Run the program blackra1n

When it open click Make it Rain

Then it should start loading.

Shortly after it is done, your iPod should be jailbroken.

On your iPod there will be a blackra1n logo.

You can install cydia and rock there.

How to Jailbreak Ipod Touch 2G 2.2.1 Firmware And Get Free Apps, Step by Step Using Quickfreedom

Hello, I will show you how to Jailbreak the iPod Touch 2G. Window Xp

WARNING! ALL of you data on you iPod will be ERASED, Back it up on iTunes. Your warrenty will be expire if you Jailbrake your iPod, but your warrenty will come back if you restore it back to the original iPod.

Programs Needed

-iTunes - /itunes/download/

*Download and install

-Quickfreedom -/download.php?y5ytjc0tfgy

*Download and install

-2.2.1 iPod Touch Firmware - /iPod/firmware/

*Go to website, go to theiPhone / iPod touch section

*Press the arrow pointing down, Select iPod touch 2G (2.2.1/5h11a)

*Press Download, download to your Desktop

Now you have everything you need to jailbreak you iPod.

TurnOFF Auto-open for iTunes, when you plug in your iPod.

1.Open Quickfreedom

2.Click Jailbreak iPod

3.Cick "Install LIBUSB" and install it

4.Click "Bowse..." go to Desktop and click the firmware.

5.Now there should be two check marks, "LIBUSB Installed" and "Original 2.2.1 Firmware - Found"

6.Now press "Next" button

7.Now on top Check "Installer" and"Use Custom Logos" (Logo is OPTIONAL)

*If you check logos, click "Change..." to pick you logos.

8.Click "Create Firmware" this should take some time 5-10 Minutes.

9.After it's done, Click "Next"

10.Put it in DUF mode. (Press DUF Instructions or follow my.)

*Plug in iPod

*Turn off and then unplug it from the computer.( Leave the cord connected the computer, just take out iPod)

*Plug it in and hold the Power Button and the button Home Button about 10 seconds

*Release the Power button. (The one on top.) And hold home button for about 30 more seconds.

*Now it should be in DFU mode.

11.Press "Start Pre-Jailbreak". (Your iPod screen should turn white.)

*Wait untill the screen turn white.

12.Open your iTunes.

*There might be a pop-up and say your iPod is in recovery mode, and stuff, it's notthing, close it.

13.Hold SHIFT key and click Restore on iTunes.

14.Now select the "coustom" firmware on your desktop.

15.Now it should be restoring.

*It will take quiet some time.

16.CONGRATZ! Your iPod Touch is now Jailbroken.

If failed or frozed leave it for 2-3 minutes and then shutdown your ipod and reopen it. If your screen is frozen, hold the home button and the power button, and wait for it to reopen.

If you dont like your Jailbroken iPod just restore it using iTunes.

How to get free Apps, after jailbreaking your iPod.

-Using just your iPod Touch

*Open Installous

*Browse through the apps, find one you will like.

*Click it.

*Scroll down untill you see some download links.

*Click any link, press the download button on the page.

*There should be two options Install and Download, pick install.

*Now it should be downloading, after it's done, it will automaticly go to the SpringBoard.

*And there is your app.

-Using the computer

*Go to /appdb/

*Find a app and download.

*Open iTunes drag the file into the Apps.

*Plug in you iPod and snyc the app.

*Theres your app.

Ten Careers That Pay More Than $50K The First Year!

Many American workers enjoy a high standard of living, certainly when compared with the wages earned by workers throughout the rest of the world. According to surveys by Payscale.com, entry-level wages for careers in this country average around $43,000 a year. Not too shabby, but by completing an online college degree program, you can boost your entry-level earning power by at least another $7,000.

Here are ten tried-and-true career groups that advertise beginning earnings at -- or well above -- the $50,000 level:

Marketing and sales staff managers help companies develop strategies for selling products and services to the public or other businesses (B2B). You can complete an online marketing program or finance degree to gain the necessary expertise to join this career group. Expect to travel and meet new people, all while banking a sizeable income.

While the Bureau of Labor Statistics puts entry level high school teacher salaries at $31,000 on average, teachers' pay varies dramatically from one district to the next. Teach an in-demand subject with a shortage of applicants in a pricey school district, and you can pull down a near-$60,000 entry-level salary. To qualify for any teaching career, you'll typically need to earn a teaching degree, in addition to completing your state's teacher certification requirements.

To fill urgent needs--especially in math and science--many districts will let you begin your classroom teaching while taking online education classes that lead to accelerated licensing. Public school salaries are a matter of public record, so research should tell you where the best jobs can be found.

If you're already a teacher, think of the high-paying, entry-level salary you can earn as a principal or school district administrator. Administrators either work at the individual school level, directing the academic performance of the teaching staff, or work at school district headquarters, helping define curriculum and teaching methods. To prepare, keep your current teaching job, and attend an online masters in education administration degree program.

Staff RNs will remain in top demand for at least another decade. While you can earn a registered nursing degree in two years, the best entry-level wages will go to registered nurses with bachelor's degrees. To qualify for the top new career positions, enroll in a nursing school that offers a BS in nursing or an RN to BSN option.

More than 231,000 network systems and data communication analysts work in the nation. They design, trouble-shoot, and install LANs, WANs, and internet and intranets for small, medium, and large companies, colleges, and government agencies. Today, hiring managers want newly trained specialists with a background in security. Pursue an online IT degree to develop the technical skills required for this field.

The Department of Labor predicts that the career group for computer software engineers will be among the fastest-growing occupations though 2014. The top entry-level IT jobs will be in systems or applications software development. Master your skills through an online computer science or computer programming degree program.

Physical therapists will remain in high demand through the end of the decade. Working in clinics, hospitals, and private offices, physical therapists rehabilitate and treat disabled, injured, and post-surgical patients. Each state has an independent licensing policy, and you'll need to complete physical therapy school to land an entry level position.

If you've always wanted to run a successful dining establishment, enroll now in a hotel and restaurant management program. Salaried managers with major chains and hotels are predicted to have greater immediate financial success than those employed at small bistros and private eateries.

Web designers, The Department of Labor says, will have some of the best job opportunities of the all design professions through 2014. If you're already a graphic arts professional, you can bone up for the Web specialty through an online graphic Web design course. To join the ranks in this career, consider earning a graphic Web design degree.

Financial analysts need a solid background in economics, revenue forecasting, and accounting to enter this rapidly growing field that serves business, manufacturing, finance, and governmental organizations. Review of Jensen Jips-250I Rocker Docking Station For The Ipad, Ipod + Iphone

I got an iPad this Christmas, and immediately had a list of accessory's that I wanted for it. A charge/docking station was the very first thing I wanted, possibly even needed.

I instantly became a die-hard hooked fan to my iPad, and found that leaving it on its back while charging with the tiny wall plug it came with would eventually land my iPad into some

trouble. Water spills, someone maybe leaving something on it, or some curious idiot picking it up and dropping it.

I figured a docking station would keep it nicely secured, while it was plugged in waiting for me to use it.

I searched intensely for one, and every store I looked had nothing but kickstand type frames, which would work, but at the same time they did not come with a wall plug, and they cost way too much money. For a stand alone, Best Buy was asking for around $55.00, which is just ridiculous considering it did not do anything beneficial for me, or my iPad.

I began to search for docking stations with speakers instead, and could not find anything available in stores, until finally I was about to give up and just order one online for $200.00 from iHome. Thankfully that same day, I came across the Jensen JiPS-250i Rocker Docking Station for the iPad, iPod + iPhone, sitting beautifully in a glass case in a local Target, and get this, it was on sale for just $10.00 more dollars than Best Buys non-efficient stand.

The Jensen JiPS-250i Rocker Docking Station for the iPad, iPod + iPhone was even more awesome than I imagined it would be. It allows you to place your iPad into its frame securely, while it charges your iPad. Not only that though it rotates and tilts allowing you to view your screen at any old angle you want.

The base is made of plastic, and it is where the speakers reside at the sides of it. The base though is nice and sturdy, and will hold your iPad securely leaving no worry in your mind that it will tip over, or be too top heavy for the base to handle. It works perfectly, and I no longer have to worry about it getting hurt.

The problem I have with this Rocker though is that it will not allow me to place my iPad into the appropriate slots unless I remove my iPads protective case, which I bought earlier that week. I have to remove the case, exposing the iPad, which I do not like, especially when I remove the iPad from the dock to use it on the go. I hate having to reattach it to its protective sleeve every time. Granted it is not such a huge flaw, that renders the docking station useless. Its just an aggravation that I am sure they will work on for their next release.

Start Up

The moment you put the iPad into the dock it will ask you to download a free application that comes with the Rocker. If you do not download it, the station will ask you if you want to download it every time you remove, and replace the iPad back into its slot. Its annoying, and eventually you will just download it to make the notice go away for good.

The application is cool though, and features a clock, radio, alarm, weather, and so on. I however already had separate apps for these features, so it was useless to me. Instead of removing the Rockers app though, I simply removed the other separate ones and kept this one, as it seemed more efficient, and laid out more properly.

The glitchy thing that I did not like about the app though was that it needed to be running in order for the alarm to work. Like most alarm apps though. I had no use for an alarm clock though, but for those who do... don't expect this one to wow you, and remember to keep it running.

Sound:

The sound quality on the Jensen JiPS-250i Rocker Docking Station for the iPad, iPod + iPhone is definitely not going to wow you, and I found the quality to sound hollow, as if voices were trapped within the plastic base. It does not sound horrible, but it definitely does not sound all that great, so do not expect to drop your stereo for this fellow.

Overall:

For me, I needed it just to charge my iPad, while keeping it secure and in place. For me this station was a work of art. The fact that the app came with it is neat, but not necessary. The sound quality could be improved on, but other than that I have no complaints. It gets the job done, and the power chord is long enough as to where I can actually set it on a desk, and plug it into the wall, unlike the one that came with the iPad made by Apple.The problem I have with this Rocker though is that it will not allow me to place my iPad into the appropriate slots unless I remove my iPads protective case, which I bought earlier that week.

iPod Basics and Purchasing Guide

So, you are looking to purchase an iPod? Please take the time to read this brief article which will at best help you get the most out of your new iPod, and at the least, help you avoid mistakes and misconceptions. This article is written out of my personal experience with iPods.

1. What is an iPod?

An iPod is a MP4 player, not a MP3 player. Basically, the MP4 format is a proprietary format only recognized by Apple products, such as iPods and QuickTime(TM). In order for music to play on an iPod, it must be in MP4 format. Apple's music download site, iTunes(TM), offers music only in the MP4 format. The iTunes(TM) software which comes with an iPod will convert MP3 music files to MP4 format, so they will play on your iPod. An iPod will not play MP3 files, neither will Windows Media Player play MP4 files. Both the Nano and Video iPod will store and display photos, but a video iPod is needed to play video files.

2. What is iTunes?

Apple hosts the world's largest music download site called iTunes(TM). As of March 2006, over 1 billion files have been downloaded for use in iPods. Pretty amazing. This site offers music files for 99 cents each, and you need not download an entire album, but can select only the music files you want and download it into your computer. The iTunes(TM) software in your computer is the vehicle by which files are loaded into the iPod. Simply place your iPod into its dock (which is attached via USB to your computer), start iTunes(TM) and your iPod is updated automatically with new music, playlists, Podcasts and so forth. I have tried other music download sites and have not found any which I like as well as iTunes(TM), even though they may offer music cheaper than iTunes(TM). A basic search will locate alternative music download sites.

There are a variety of other files available on iTunes(TM) called Podcasts. These are audio or video files which include news broadcasts, informational programs, comedy programs and many others. The great majority of Podcasts are free, and others are not.

3. What You Get

iPods come with the following:

iPod with battery

Earphones (called "earbuds")

A generic pouch for the earbuds

A docking station (to transfer files and charge the iPod)

iTunes(TM) software CD

Instruction manual

That is all.

4. What You will Need

Every iPod user will need a case, and we strongly recommend a screen protector.

Both the iPod Nano and 5th generation (5G) Video iPod are susceptible to scratching, and the black units seem to show scratches worse than the white ones. This is true of both the iPod housing AND the screen. Nothing is worse than having your iPod blemished with unsightly scratches, especially when it is easily avoidable by using a case and screen protector. Having your unprotected iPod floating around inside your purse or in your pocket will absolutely cause your iPod to quickly accumulate scratches both on the housing and on the screen. Be warned! This is not really a defect, but just the way it is.

5. Using iPods in your Car

Most people quickly realize that it would be great to be able to have their iPod play music through their car stereo. No longer would they have to mess with CDs or tapes. How many CDs would you have to carry to have your entire music library with you in the car? You can take it all in the palm of your hand with an iPod. So, how does one play music through their car stereo? There are several options.

First, there are cables available for most car stereos which plug into the iPod and the other end of the cable plugs into a port on the back of the stereo. Removal of the stereo is usually required to accomplish this task. Also, the wire used to connect your iPod is exposed. It does, however, sound great! Some car stereos have a line input on the faceplate. In this case, all one needs to do is use an adaptive cable from the headphone jack of the iPod to the input on the stereo. In both of these scenarios, the iPod will run on its internal battery unless a car charger is used as well.

Second, (and by far the most popular) method, is to use an FM transmitter to transmit a signal from your iPod to your FM radio and play it as if it were a radio station. There are a variety of FM transmitters from several manufacturers. We recommend using a unit which is a dock and not a plug into the iPod port. The plug-in units consume power from the iPod battery and seem to produce a weak signal resulting in poor audio quality. A docking unit (such as the Griffin RoadTrip(TM)) holds your iPod in place, charges the iPod and produces a strong signal. The RoadTrip(TM) also features a removable FM module which allows it to plug into your computer. You can therefore listen to FM radio through your computer without having to install software.

6. Using iPods at Home

iPods can easily play through your home stereo. One can simply use an adaptive cable which plugs into the headphone jack of the iPod and into the stereo input of your stereo. In this setup, the iPod is operating on battery power unless the iPod is also plugged into a charger.Docking your iPod is the preferred method, and there are a variety of docking solutions available. The iPod docks into a base which charges the iPod, and an output jack on the base connects the iPod to your stereo via a cable. Some units offer remote controls for your iPod and others do not, but often these remotes are weak and have very limited range and field of reception. We have found thsome television or stereo programmable remote control units can be programmed to work with certain iPod docking systems, while others work partially or not at all. It is worth trying if you have a programmable remote.

Some docking units also have a video output for use with the 5G Video iPod, which allows one to watch videos or photos stored in the iPod on a television. We have found that the picture quality is poor on large screen televisions, but ok on a smaller screen. Using a dock with S-video output will provide a far superior picture than units using an RCA connector. As of now, iPods do not support high definition.

There are speaker systems which contain their own amplifier and operate as a stand-alone unit with an iPod. These are not all created equal. Our testing has found that a high price does not always equal high quality. We have found $150 systems which in our opinion sound significantly superior to $400 units. It is best to listen to the various systems before making your selection; or if buying online, follow the recommendations of the seller IF they have tested the systems and can provide you with recommendations based on testing results.

There are alarm clock radios (such as iHome(TM)) which allow you to go to sleep listening to your iPod and wake up to it as well. We have tested the iHome(TM) and others, and found iHome(TM) to be our unit of choice.

7. Loading Movies into Your 5G Video iPod

When the Video iPod first came out, I gave it a high ranking on the "Dumb-O-Meter." Who wants to watch a movie on a 2.5 inch screen? However, after having used one, I have recanted my original opinion. It is now my iPod of choice. Unfortunately, iTunes(TM) and other MP4 download sites usually have little to offer in the way of legal movies which are formatted to play on an iPod. ITunes(TM) does have some short films, music videos and television shows, but not much else.

An easy solution for this is to convert your own DVDs into a format that the iPod can play. This can be accomplished by means of a software product called a DVD to iPod converter, such as Cucusoft, Lenogo and others. It is a simple process. Put a DVD in your computer, start the converter program and let it convert the movie to iPod format. Then, move the converted file into your iTunes(TM) video list. The next time you dock your iPod to your computer, it will load into your iPod. Some converter programs will also convert AVI, MPEG, MPG, WMV and other computer video formats for use on an iPod. This can allow you to convert your family videos and view them on your ipod. IPod movies are great for entertaining children on the road, for the business traveler stranded at an airport or for long airplane trips.DVD converters we recommend are available here.

8. iPods and your PC

The music files for your iPod are stored in two places: in your PC in the iTunes(TM) program, and in your iPod. If your PC crashes and you loose your hard drive or have to reformat, you will loose EVERYTHING contained in your iTunes(TM) folder, including all of the songs you have purchased from iTunes(TM). Furthermore, iTunes(TM) does not offer the means to re-download songs you have purchased for free. You will have to buy them again. Neither does the iPod come with a means to load files into a computer. Fortunately, there are software programs which allow you to copy the contents of your iPod into a PC or from one iPod to another. These programs are usually titled "iPod to PC", or something similar. If your computer crashes, you will kick yourself for not having this program to restore your music files back into your computer.
