With tablets becoming more and more popular, it would only take some time before a lot of them get to compete in a tight consumer market. In order to do well, newer tablet PC’s should try to focus on a certain market segment for a better chance at success. This may be what Fujitsu is aiming for when it recently released its new Stylistic Q550 Tablet targeted for business use.
The new Fujitsu Stylistic Q550 is a business-class slate tablet that features high security enhancements required for mobile enterprise computing. Up front, the Fujitsu Q550 comes with an Intel Atom 1.5 GHz processor, 2GB RAM, 10.1 inch multi-touch screen with LED backlight. It also comes with an HDMI port, Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi connectivity and with the optional 3G support. Users may have the choice between a 30GB or 62GB internal memory models.
For added security enhancements, the Fujitsu Q550 Stylistic Slate PC will incorporate features such as fingerprint authentication, smart card reader, and an embedded security chip and encrypted SSD. The new Fujitsu Stylistic Q550 tablet is expected to enter the Japanese market around April or May. It is expected to cost from 89,000 to 99,000 Japanese Yen.
